In 1948, our founder, Wally Byam, and his friend Cornelius Vanderbilt painted the words “Globe Trotters” on the side of their Airstream and headed for Europe, which inspired the original line of Globetrotter Travel Trailers in the 1950s. Today’s Globetrotter captures the spirit of adventure and the tradition of European design, all in a travel trailer that’s built entirely here in Jackson Center, Ohio, USA.

The Fusion Touchscreen stereo has Wi-Fi, Apple AirPlay, and Bluetooth® connectivity, over-the-air software updates, and SiriusXM. The subwoofer and surround sound speakers blend seamlessly into the upper locker design, yet project sound throughout the trailer. Plus, the LG LED HDTVs with Blu-Ray™ players run on 110V battery power, so you can have a movie night even when you’re off the grid.

A major part of the Globetrotter® Travel Trailer’s appeal is how seamless the storage feels. Upper storage cabinets throughout the travel trailer are finished with our custom curved wood doors, coated in a bright white that’s resistant to fingerprints. Inside are hydraulic hinges that keep the doors in place when they’re fully open and add a soft close when you pull them shut.
